The Risks of a Global Recession
The risks of a global recession have gone up in the last week. The rapid implosions of Silicon Valley Bank and signature will have changed risk appetite in a vital segment of the US banking system. We think the authorities have done enough to prevent widespread deposit flight. A slower bleed in deposits and accompanying clamming up and lending intentions, that'll be harder to dam up. But I still firmly believe that's not the case.
