There was something about Los Angeles, perhaps the entertainment industry that attracted different esoteric belief systems and alternative ways of thinking. And all this would later, of course, make LA a hotbed for cults. Hey, you don't think it still isn't? It still is, buddy. Don't count us out. Never said it. Stop being a hotbed.
