In a lot of ways, the real innovation in crypto is a financial one. It's really this ability to create markets and create ditual assets around things that previously had no value or weren't necessarily emmeshed in an economic exchange. Now you can practically bet on anything, or take out a futures contract on anything, and only get sort of more concentrated and more severe. Butm my real worry is that we're just financializing more of daily life and more the vr of virtual life.
