I felt like you knew exactly the world you were going to inhabit from early on. I don't think we were very good at it for a couple of episodes, which is fairly typical. The feedback that we got was that leslie nope was coming off as ditsy. We wanted her to be incredibly smart and driven but someone who just didn't have the sort of acumen to play politics.
