Daelin: Michael Jordan is the standard of success in basketball. Daelin wrote a paper about Jordan when he was in undergrad exploring his Hall of Fame speech as a transgression of the Hall of Fame genre. He says there's some interesting ways in which Jordan's speech is a perfect example of a couple of different rhetorical theories.
