One really important moment was when my principal archaeological colleague on the project, a mimo comardo, who is actually trained as a mediaeval archaeologist,. r and he became very excited because hed recognized some thirteenth century pottery. The second moment of revelation for me was when i was visiting a potsoli, which is on the north of the bay of naples, and that suffered from dreadful earthquakes in 19 80.
