Farming Is a Capital Intensity Business
There are fewer people in rural america, but farmers can grow more because of technology. Part of the problem is that farming is a very capital and intensive business. In our diligence, though, we do specifically look for areas that have strong communities. It's really importantt while we want to help out farmers, we also have responsibility to our investors to understand, are there enough tenants to be able to support this farm?
