Dorothy Thompson Expelled From Nazi Germany
In some ways, it was the best thing to happen to her career. The International Press Corps sees her off on the train from Berlin to Paris and they give her flowers. Initially, when she first gets the position at the Harold Tribune, the editors of the Tribune presented to her as a column for housewives. I think this is dropped pretty quickly, but that's the thought initially, at least.
