The Dangers of a Landslide

The town of Lecuncheeta is tucked between the highway and a hillside. Landslides have been reported here for well over a century. The first major landslide of modern times happened in 1995. A report from the U.S. government said that, quote, "no part of the community can be considered safe" And yet Lec uncheeta still has a population of over 300.
