The Value of Conversational Turn Taking
Conversational turn taking and what they called ostentatious listeningtat just fancy. Google jargon to say, e take turns in terms of having conversation but thet also show that you are listening. The whole idea of ostentatiable listening is not just, you know, in one ear, out the other ear,. But youre agty showing the other person in that meeting with your body language. And i'll always say that if someone has spoken for five or ten minutes without giving evor anyone else the opportunity to say something, the likelihood of someone then saying something later the line significantly reduces.
