Are You Trying to Maximize the Benefits of Triage?

I think we could refine that principle of maximizing benefit just a bit and say, well we want to care for each and every person or patient who comes through the door. I think if you start to get too broad and say now it's time to care for the population you might get in a little danger there. And many of these protocols are written from a secular perspective and they don't include specifically Catholic principles or Catholic teaching. So how do you do that in a situation not only of many patients but scarce resources and then all of the confusion and sometimes the danger that comes with a disease pandemic?
