The Power of Complex Systems to Destabilize Our Received Visions of Creativity
In an ecosystem, say that switches from one state to another, you don't have individual fish swimming around thinking like, kind of bored with this regime. But there's something special that happens at the level of the entire system where you put them all together and there's some sort of collective hive mind creativity. So for me, I think this really points to the power of complex systems to almost destabilize our received visions of what creativity even is.
