The Role of the Individual in Conservatism

In your book, you describe conservative nationalism as a unity of different tribes in making a pact together to work heasively. What I've struggled a little bit is to separate where's the role of the individual within that makeup? So I couldn't quite separate conservatism and liberalism in my head. Maybe you can clarify that for sure. Well, look, it's very important to recognize that conservatism is going to be different from one nation, one national tradition to another. Whatever is an appropriate conservatism in Britain is not, it's simply not going to be the same as anappropriate conservatism in Russia or somewhere else.
