Wan's grandfather was a man with great preoccupations and terrors, she says. He would sit over not very nice cups of coffee in the kitchen and talk for hours. After he died, i realized that i had just got used to him as a source of information. I think it's very difficult to see that when you just read the books, unless you read some of their funny stories.
