The second coming of the KKK summarizes, quote, three Oregon cases known as the Oregon Outrages. In all four places, some degree of racial segregation was in place and Klan violence helped to keep it in place. This is not a counter-cultural act; most people were fine with what they were doing. It wasn't the purpose, the Klan was more about money, but also the violence was occurring within society.
