Is There a Potential Use of Ibutilide in the Emergency Department?
Butilie pecamine is popular in the emergency department, and it can be used to cardivert folks and send them home. I think there's a potential kind of nich application for this year. ibutilide is not going to be fantastic for the emergency department because you need to observe people for like, four to six hours afterwards. For patients who are super unstable, we arrady kind of talked about d c carty herting them. If they don't respond to magnesium or amiodrone, if they're already intimated and sedated, maybe it might be worth it.
