Canosis is to put a limit on yourself to make space for other selves. In fact, it's not being a cringing worm. It's self control. You don't bulldoze over everyone's voice and will in the room. And then the next verse here is that jesus became like a servant. This isn't an elevation of being a servile doormat. A servant exists for the will of some one else. That is his job description. But he used his power not as a way to gather up and subsume others power to get what he wants in a domination way. Instead, he put alimit on his power and his will in order to make space
