Lord reynald is one of the leaders of the opposition to the elections bill currently going through parliament. He says he will continue to argue for elections to the house of lords, which has been liberal democrat policy since at least 19 11. But we haven't succeeded on that yet and so far our attempt to democratize the lords fell ten years ago.
