How to Create a Better Front Door for Government Solutions

On the contracting side, how do we create a better front door for those people in industry who maybe wouldn't have engaged with the government because there's tons of red tape? So I think it begins with acknowledging that it's about describing a problem that we need help with as opposed to specifying specific requirements. And so that alone opens the door to many different ways to solve the problem. The next step is to make that interaction lightweight, create an environment in which a prototype capability is okay to presentBecause that would demonstrate the art of the possible. But this environment is not a winner take all. We want to be able to include that competition within our existing programs.
