GPT 4's API isn't open. You can go to someone who pays for an API, and basically write an API to that open. He found people that had the GPT 4 API open. And he's mooching off of u.com, which is like a search engine. So they obviously have massive bandwidth. It's not like a little app that would notice and shut it off easily.
