There's a lot of tension, and there's an increasing amount of tension, i would say, compared to even two years ago. In many ways, that goal has seen tremendous progress. There now official docker images for the way that swift is distributed. You still can't just apt get install swift, which i think is a big, a missed opportunity, but maybe we'll get there. This is all a living goal, right? You're never going to be done having good cross platform support.
