There's this whole, and I've had to talk about this with like policymakers and people. It is true that these other people have made it up. They're just reporting. And all of this stuff that's around distracting policymakers with the AI doomerism distracts from the actual harms that are actually happening now. So yeah, it is nonsense. It is nonsense that is inspired by, on the one hand, science fiction,. On the other hand, a philosophical tradition that's threaded through these things.
