The role of humans in landscapes has to be a local decision. There's no way for somebody a thousand miles away to understand the nuance and complications of your local conditions. A lot of bigger projects on, like reforestation, where they go in lant ten thousand trees some place, and then you go back a year later and there's like 300 left,. i just don't see how that could ever possibly work.
