Helicopter Parenting Can Be a Part of Permissive Parenting

Helicopter parenting comes from a very good place. But unfortunately, that does a huge diservice because the outcomes are disastrous. They don't learn how to face any adversity and overcome it. According to two studies done in 20 16, there's more outcomes that are very unfavorable. And according to that study, helicopter parenting was also associated with poorer functioning in emotional skills, decision making and academic functioning.
