Arepas in Venezuela?

Venezuela is a very urban country, so most of the population seems to be settled in and around caracas. We'd love to know if this tradition is only in caracas, or whether you go to church on roller skates in other parts of the country as well. Venessa, did you go to christmas mass and rollo skits? Where on earth does this tradition come from? You can get arepas with fish, with meat, all different kinds of meat and fillings and spices. And another dish we really enjoyed called pabillon crioo, which is the v Venezuela's national dish.
