The Role of Religion in War
A belief in a creator doesn't stifle scientific innovation, it can inspire it. The Enlightenment discovered that the best way to deal with opponents was to cut their heads off. There's a direct line from the Enlightenment to the Persecutions of Stalin and the horrific destruction of life in the 20th century. We think our modern theory of intelligent design is also going to lead to new discoveries.
