There's been a lot of fear mongering from Elon and from Bill Gates. We have to look at what is the basis for that fear, he says. There are negative implications such as loss of jobs or terrorists using AI. But it also makes us more capable of solving problems - which enables people to cause problems. Peter: The early adolescent version of AGI could be a problem. And then the extreme is a malevolent AI that just is Terminator.
