The physicalist has to say Mary isn't getting new information, she's only getting old information. She already knew all that information but the speed of it is now built into her visual experience. I currently know that my knees are bent under the table by proprioception. You might see them reflected in a mirror. But there's a phenomenological difference between seeing your knees bent in a mirror and a normal way of doing it. Here's one more rule for a journey. We're here to hear you. Illuminating.
