Poetry Off the Shelf
Introduction
Hilleen Adichrods: Poet Paisley Rechtahl was commissioned to write a poem for the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad. The book is not so much about the railroad as about the people who built it, most of whom were Chinese-born migrants," Hilleen writes.
