In Cree tradition the Aurora is believed to be the spirits of dead ancestors dancing in the night sky. This idea became even more important to their family when Emilia died at 10 years old. After losing Emilia Hugo missed his son pretty bad He wanted to feel closer to him, but how Science couldn't much help with that? But the Aurora could. On one of his first nights out taking photos after Emilia passed away Hugo snapped a picture and when he looked at it he dropped to his knees And I was crying.
