Chris Hill: As the optimist here, I've spent some time pointing out that things can change for the better. There is room to be optimistic about the future because people are resourceful and often successful when they choose to take action. He says prepare for near term challenges really at any point by having an emergency fund or spending less than you earn. But then count on things going well over the long term, on the economy growing.
The list of companies who had a more profitable 2022 than Exxon Mobil is decidedly short.
