Callum Esler is a student currently writing on fiction about the Scottish independence referendum. He says he found it interesting seeing how many people supported their freedom being taken away in the name of Charles as Met and other police forces across the UK cracked down on protest. Do you think that there is a twisted logic which could see ordinary people actually speaking against freedom?
