Is There a Sense of Suffering in Metam?
I think it's fair to say that for most people, the amelioration of suffering is the primary goal. I agree with what you're saying is that we need to take into account the full scope of experience. But one of the things that strikes me as very important about some of these models and about some of this way of thinking is that ultimately you do find your footing in a in a normativity. And at that point, I I fail to see the usefulness of further mapping the depths of sorrow and nihilism and despair.
