The Collectivization Process in the Soviet Union
This episode will focus on what collectivization actually meant for the people in the countryside. The first was widespread famine within the agricultural areas of the Soviet Union. There was also a lack of motivation among the agricultural workers. On some collective farms, the workers still lived in their own houses and sometimes even worked a small plot of land by themselves.
