The Army's Task Force on the T Junction

The platoon secured the area and saw the convoy and the trains through by about 1030. They would now have to wait for the returning convoy and trains in the afternoon. The sun was well up in the sky and the men were being baked. Humidity added to the discomfort. It was time for the squads to get up and move out to relieve the next one. Number one squad however, over a period decided to reduce this distance and establish itself next to the T junction which had good shade. Instead of baking out in the sun, we're just going to kind of get a little bit closer to the road, get a little Bit closer to the T Junction. We're going to sit
