The Beauty of This Morning

Mary Magdalene stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white seated where Jesus' body had been. The modern philosopher Elaine de Bhutan has this really wonderful book on art called Art as Therapy. In it, he talks about how in the art world, typically pretty art or cheery art is looked down upon by people with taste and intelligence.
