Is There a Competition for the Future of Avatars?

The goal is to start a new industry. And certainly we hope hat there'll be a bunch of new companies that come out of this final event in november. We've got teams from the united states, singapore, the uk. All over europe. A couple from japan, south corea. So we have quite a few in the past with exerprises. Happens with the solutions? Do some of them find their way into industry and products? I'm thinking of darpa.
