The Public Utility Commission in Nevada Decided That the 99% Should Not Subsidize Renewables

Nevada has a public utility commission that decides what's proper in terms of rooftop power. For solar to be competitive just like wind it needs subsidization and who pays the subsidy gets to be a real question if you want to encourage people to use renewables. The federal government has done it through tax subsidies which mean tax payers generally throughout the country subsidize it.
