Can somebody who was born of a non Jewish nationality, even if it's a citizen, somehow obtain Jewish nationality? Unless he converts religiously. Yes, but basically it cannot happen. Some people can have Jewish nationality, but no religion. For example, those who immigrated from Russia. Exactly from Russia. And their Jewishness word was kind of putting question by the state or because there were all these political elements that questioned their Jewish heritage. At the same time, they were white enough for Israel to accept them and make them a full-fledged citizen. But their religion is no religion.
