The History of Pueblo Religion
By 1680, Pueblos have been subjected to abuses and would you call it criminal treatment? What are the checks on these colonizers? I mean, is there any kind of policy guiding them or do they simply lay down the law and punish those who don't obey? You know, again, we're talking about an eight year period, you're right. And so the motivations change over time. Some people would go so far as to say there is inspiration for contemporary Pueblo religion that comes out of Mesoamerican religion.
