The Importance of Intellectual Property in Universities
At the time this is now 1983 I guess. How can we ever sort of make any claims on intellectual property going forward and so you know I got them to write a letter that basically says they're hiring me to do basic research. And if I have a hobby of doing sort of technology development that's kind of my own thing. At the time there was great diversity in those that were a small number of universities, where there had been pretty successful kind of faculty developed things.
