The Consequences of the Crack Epidemic

I don't think nearly enough has been said about this particular dynamic and the way this epidemic tore at the inside the community. The relationships between black people in the same neighborhood, in the same families, just the wound it left. And you know, that we became actually more vulnerable because we didn't have each other anymore. For that reason, you know, gentrification, I believe is a consequence of the crack epidemic.
