Liar vs Failure is the first episode of a new Netflix documentary series. The show looks at an alleged Ponzi scheme that began in the mid-90s. CNN's John Sutter says he doesn't know if this was deliberate or not. He believes it may have started as early as the 60s, probably in the 70s and continued for 30 years.
