Rishi Sunak and the Tories Rip Up Their Green Policies
Rishi Sunak is delaying a flagship eco policy which would force manufacturers to pay for recycling pushing it back to 2025. He's planning to slacken energy efficient targets for landlords and when asked if he would stick to banning the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2030 he ignored the question. I mean it feels to me like a sort of core vote strategy they know they're going to lose the only question is how badly are they going to lose so they're looking around for any possible comfort.
