The Problem With Democracy

I want something that is really changed my mind. I don't think the politicians actually care very much about human beings or the world. They are ultra power hungry and would pretty much say almost anything if they could continue to load it over us. And so for the same time, the competition between politicians does leave them to go and do mostly stuff that sounds really good. Social desirability bias as psychologists call it, even when that is in fact really bad.
