The Importance of Animal Behavior Studies

This is something that happens a lot in animal behavioral studies, particularly when you're using captive animals. You can have like observations in the wild, but it's so hard to control for everything. A lot of these behavioral studies are done in a lab setting. And then so you're taking this animal and putting it in this alien environment where their motivations aren't going to be sort of the same as they would be in the wild.
