There's a perfect amount of gore you should consume to like still have it have that effect on you without getting desensitized. I think this is probably what public executions were before. You go and see just the right amount of death to keep you on the straight and narrow, but you don't want to be the executioner. There was more this in the 90s with figures like GGL or even someone like Genesis Peorage who would like really play with the extremes of a body. We were even thinking of like the Mondo films of the 70s faces of death in the 80s.
