The Old Testament and the New Testament
Many things that are declared to be novel and distinctive to the New Testament are actually just elements of the Old Testament. The two great commandments, that's from the Old Testament or the teaching that Jesus gives in the seven on the Mount is very much what you find within Old Testament teaching if you reflect upon it deeply. It seems that in Paul's mind there is a deep continuity between these two covenant orders - not the sort of opposition that we often present.
