Why Should I Apply in Round One?

i've talked so many times on this podcast, you know, about how the missions committees at all schools want to put together a diverse mix of students. In round one, everything's wide open. That doesn't mean they're going to accept a sub par candidate. And unfortunately, i think the etainty we've seen over the last few years am during kind of covid, might actually be making admissions committees use the weight list for this reason even more.
