In the writing revolution, they call the conjunctive adverbs like however, and therefore transition words. With our students, we tend to call them transition words as well. So that's why you can hear therefore in the middle. You might say like writing is really hard. Students have to work every day Therefore to make their writing better. Can you put it anywhere? Except in the middle of certain phrases so you couldn't be like split infinitives. It's breaking that old grammar rule of splitting the infinitive
